1. Delete Your Account In The App

You can delete your account yourself, any time:

• Open My Chain Link and sign in
• Go to your Profile, then open Settings
• Scroll to the Account section and choose Delete Account
• Confirm. Deletion starts immediately.

2. What Gets Deleted

• Your profile, handle, bio, photo, and hobbies
• Your posts, stories, comments, likes, and albums
• Your messages and conversations
• Your links, followers, and group memberships
• Your Premium or creator subscription state (cancel in PayPal to stop future billing)

3. What We Keep, And Why

• Consent records: proof that you agreed to a specific version of the Terms of Service, kept for legal compliance.
• Safety logs: abuse-prevention logs are kept for a limited period for crime prevention, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• Payment records: PayPal keeps its own transaction records. We never store your card details.

4. Timeline

Your content disappears from the platform right away. Server-side backups roll over and purge within 30 days.

5. Need Help?

If you cannot sign in or want us to delete your account for you, email support@mychainlink.ca from the address on your account and we will take care of it.
